I always look forward to Autumn as it offers great opportunities for photos.

One advantage of living in Norfolk is the abundance of woodland and a selection of National Trust estates.

Unfortunately there are restrictions as to where I can physcially drive so the popular locations only offer the public car park (which tend to be not very photogenic)

But with a full tank of fuel and a day off during the week meant a day of spontaneous driving to hunt down some autumnesque backdrops.

It was a fun morning out exploring areas I had never visited before despite living here all of my life. Its surprising just how many side roads and hidden gems there are.

Luck was certainly on my side as it stayed dry for the duration. Its just a shame this period doesn't stay with us for longer.
I hope you enjoyed the photos
